    • Nutrition and diet: Using foods, supplements, and vitamins to support brain health and overall well-being.

    • Herbal treatments: Plant medicine has been used for centuries by many cultures. When used mindfully in combination with other treatments or on its own, they can provide significant benefits to our mental well-being.

    • Mind-body techniques: Exploring practices like mindfulness, meditation, yoga, or acupuncture.

    • Exercise and sleep management: Focusing on physical health as a foundation for mental health, with tailored fitness and sleep strategies

    • Supportive Psychotherapy and Education: If you are already working with a therapist, I aim to collaborate alongside them to effectively support your therapeutic goals.

  • No - Although it may be tempting to stop medications once you feel better, psychiatric medications work on our brain chemistry, which takes time not only to feel a benefit but also to sustain it as well. Just as everybody responds differently to medications, I work closely with you to develop a sustainable treatment plan, including when and how to discontinue medications methodically and as smoothly as possible.

  • Treatment is individualized depending on your collaboration and successes we have with the different treatment modalities.

    Know that my goal is to have you feeling better within 2-4 months.

  • We know that unexpected things can happen, however, please understand that we need more than 24+ hour notice to fill your slot with others on our waitlist or seeking help.

    • Any appointments cancelled within 24 hours or less of your appointment will result in a $75 charge to the card we have on file. 

    • Any NO SHOW appointments will result in a $150 charge to the card we have on file.

  • This depends on the individual’s needs and will be further discussed in our sessions. When initiating and/or adjusting treatments, follow ups are approximately once a month. Once a stable regiment is established, time between appointments can be extended to 3-6 months depending on the treatment plan.

  • For any medical emergency, you should always call 911.

    Higher levels of care such as in-patient psychiatric hospitalization or intensive outpatient care are also options for mental health crisis.
